Welcome to our durian farm at BM Gold Durian, centrally located in Bukit Mertajam near the renowned St. Anne Church.

Since 2012, we’ve been on a journey of durian cultivation on BM Hill, initially facing challenges due to our lack of experience. However, with hill water readily available, we found the ideal conditions for planting our durian trees on the 4.5-acre farm, with plans for an additional 3.5 acres designated for a future resort farm.

Despite setbacks such as the devastating phytophthora disease and a landslide in 2018, we’ve persevered with the guidance of experienced farmers.

Today, our farm boasts a variety of durian trees, predominantly the blackthorn variety, known for its superior growth on our hill. Alongside, we cultivate other varieties for personal consumption, ensuring a diverse selection for our visitors.

In 2020, we celebrated our first harvest, yielding 300 durian fruits, with expectations for a significant increase to 2000 fruits in 2021, primarily comprising the sought-after blackthorn variety. We proudly branded our durian fruits as BM GOLD, paying homage to Bukit Mertajam Town, where our farm is situated, and the golden resemblance of the blackthorn flesh.
